This ad with artwork by Carol Blanchard appeared in 1961. Text reads: "Mrs. Abernathy told the gardener that she simply adored roses, must have them for the bed, shower, bath windows, floor. So the gardener came to us for Fieldcrest's ensemble, wash clothes to blankets."
I've seen other Lord and Taylor ads by Blanchard. I will post pictures as I find them again.

AS I have some art of Carol Blanchard. SHe and my mother were good friends and I have some of her art work. I wonder if there is any interest in it. I think I would like to give it back to her family. I have no contact information. Do you have any information about Carol that you could share with me?
