These ads are both from 1958. The photographer is not identified! I've seen an ad by Mark Shaw in a February 1958 New Yorker and an ad by Richard Avedon in December 1958. Were these ads by Shaw? By Avedon? Someone else?The first ad appeared in the New Yorker 09/20/58. Study in Brown. A short-length slip in Topaz for $12.95.
The second ad appeared in the New Yorker 11/08/58. Portrait in Pink Harmonies. A pink nightgown of Amethyst nylon tricot. $16.95
