Okay, the pictures don't quite line up . . . ah well. Here's a recent find. My estate-sale buddy, Becky, and I were at an estate sale yesterday. We got a great deal - four paper bags full for only $4.
We added this to one of the bags. It is an official program for the 1956 Babe Ruth League World Series. The event took place at the Multnomah Stadium in Portland, Oregon, August 21-25.
The program is 28-pages long and features full-page ads for Nokona Carl Erskine No-Hitter baseball glove, Rawlings equipment, Adirondack Bats and United States Rubber Pro Keds basketball shoes. And, on the back, a full-page ad for Coca-Cola that I've never seen before!
